A 3D animation series produced for Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), translating a 29.57 km² national infrastructure project into compelling visual storytelling for investors, government, and the public.
Project Overview
Kabalega Industrial Park (KIP) is one of East Africa's most ambitious infrastructure undertakings: a 29.57 km² greenfield industrial park in Hoima District, Uganda, built around a 60,000 BPD oil refinery and Kabalega International Airport. With a combined installation value exceeding USD 5 billion and a projected 5.5% contribution to Uganda's GDP by 2031, KIP sits at the centre of the country's National Development Plan IV and Vision 2040 industrialisation agenda.
Moxie5 was engaged by UNOC to translate the scale and investment opportunity of KIP into high-impact 3D animation, content built to move investors, inform the public, and support Uganda's national industrial narrative on the global stage.
The Brief
UNOC needed more than a technical overview. They needed a way to make a 30 km² industrial master plan feel tangible, to communicate scale, credibility, and opportunity to three very different audiences at once: international investors evaluating where to put capital, government and diplomatic stakeholders tracking national progress, and the public who will live and work alongside the park.
The brief called for photorealistic 3D animation, broadcast-quality production, and a narrative structure that could flex between an emotional vision film and a data-driven investment tool.
Our Approach
Deep review of KIP's approved master plan, GIS terrain data, and consultation with UNOC's technical and corporate affairs teams to ensure every structure, statistic, and zone boundary was accurate.
Script and storyboard development, visual style definition, and initial 3D modelling of key infrastructure, refinery, roads, power grid, water systems, and community zones.
Structured review cycles (internal, technical directorate, executive) with regular progress presentations to UNOC throughout, three formal rounds per video.
4K cloud rendering, VFX, colour grading, professional voiceover and orchestral scoring, and full source file delivery to UNOC.
What We Delivered
Video 01
A 60-second, three-act cinematic film introducing KIP to public and government audiences, from a sweeping aerial sunrise over Hoima, through an integrated ecosystem of refinery, roads, power, water, and community infrastructure, to a legacy value-chain sequence closing on: "This is Kabalega Petro-based Industrial Park. We are Uganda's engine of progress."
Video 02
A structured 13-scene investor film taking audiences from national economic context through KIP's six specialised investment zones, Heavy Industrial, Light & Downstream Industries, Agro-Industrial, Business & Commercial, Residential/Estate, and Administrative, closing on a direct "Invest in Uganda" call to action.
Video 03
An overview of KIP's projected economic impact: GDP contribution, capital formation, job creation, and Uganda's long-term industrial transformation, told through data-driven, future-focused visuals designed for investor and government audiences.
All three productions delivered in 4K, with broadcast versions, social-media cuts, high-resolution stills, and full source files handed over to UNOC.

A full interior branding rollout for a KCB Bank branch, covering signage, wall graphics, frosting, and lighting across every customer and staff touchpoint, from the entrance to the vault.
Project Overview
A bank branch is a brand experience long before a customer reaches the counter. For this project, Moxie5 was engaged by KCB Bank to design and roll out interior branding across an entire branch, translating the bank's blue and gold brand identity into physical signage, wall treatments, and wayfinding that shape how customers and staff experience the space.
The work touched nearly every zone of the branch: exterior building signage, the Advantage Banking area, teller sections, the ATM zone, the vault, the relationship manager's desk, and staff spaces including the gym and cafeteria.
The Brief
KCB needed the branch to look and feel consistently "on-brand" the moment someone walks in, without the space feeling like a static corporate rollout. That meant coordinating signage, printed frost, matt stickers, and lighting across very different areas: a customer-facing banking hall, a secure vault, and a staff cafeteria, so the brand identity felt intentional and cohesive throughout, not just applied to the entrance.

Design and construction of the Uganda Tourism Board's exhibition pavilion for the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) 2023, a custom 20m × 20m structure built to put every department, agency, and destination on full display.
Project Overview
The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) is Uganda's flagship platform for promoting the country's tourism brand, investment opportunities, and destinations to a global audience. For the 2023 edition, Moxie5 was engaged to design and construct the Uganda Tourism Board's exhibition pavilion from concept through to build, giving UTB a presence that stood out among competing exhibitors and gave every department equal exposure.
Our scope covered design, construction, and full project management, along with furniture rental, equipment rental, graphics and logo printing, electrical and lighting installation, and signage aligned to POATE and Explore Uganda branding guidelines.

The Brief
UTB needed a pavilion that could do several jobs at once: give four distinct departments (Investment, MICE, Leisure, and Quality Assurance) their own visible space without any of them getting lost, host partner agencies and cultural heritage sites within the same footprint, and still read as one cohesive, unmistakably "Uganda" brand experience from across the expo floor.
The location itself was a competitive advantage. The pavilion needed branding strong enough to be visible from a distance, drawing visitors in before they even reached the door.
Our Approach
We designed the pavilion as a custom 20m × 20m structure split into purpose-built zones rather than a single generic booth layout.
Main Area, 10m × 20m
Partitioned booths for each UTB department (Investment, MICE, Leisure, Quality Assurance), a triple-unit reception desk, tea & coffee corner, multiple meeting areas, a photo booth, light boxes carrying destination graphics, and three LED screen walls running destination videos on a loop.
Exhibition Wings, 2 × 5m × 20m
Two dedicated exhibition wings showcasing Uganda's leading tourism destinations through a combined graphics, audio, and visual experience, giving each destination a full sensory presence rather than a single poster.
Garden Lounge Deck
A raised garden lounge deck behind the main structure, finished with green turf, garden furniture, and parasols, a place for outdoor meetings and networking away from the main floor, and a visual breath of Uganda's landscapes in a conference hall.
Primary branding was placed high above the pavilion for maximum visibility, with large-format industry graphics on the exterior advertising Uganda's tourism strengths to passersby before they stepped inside.

Full structural fit-out and interior partitioning of MOGO's corporate headquarters. 263 SQM transformed in 8 weeks, a space that physically embodies their new brand identity.
Project Overview
MOGO was undergoing a complete brand overhaul. They needed more than a new visual identity — they needed a headquarters that physically embodied it. The ask was clear: transform an outdated office into a modern, agile, and inspiring workspace that reflected innovation, transparency, and collaboration.
With an aggressive 8-week schedule and a "move-in ready" deadline, precision and coordination were non-negotiable. We treated the space as a blank canvas. Every design decision was made to support MOGO's rebrand narrative while delivering maximum functionality for their teams.
Our Approach
Exposed Ceiling as a Design Statement
We stripped away the old suspended ceiling across all 263 SQM, exposing the structural iron framework. Treated and finished in custom slate white, the raw ceiling became a signature aesthetic element — industrial, open, and modern. It also served as the mounting base for the new linear LED lighting layout, merging form with function.
Purpose-Driven Partitioning
Using gypsum boards and tempered glass, we created distinct zones that balanced privacy with openness. Phone Booth Offices — soundproofed modules for private calls and focused work. ESD Office Areas — secure, heavy-duty workspaces for technical teams handling sensitive equipment. Cafeteria Core — framed and configured as a hybrid social hub to encourage informal collaboration.
Integrated Technology & Comfort
Behind the scenes, we installed high-grade cable tray systems for organised routing of power, LAN, and communication lines. The cassette air conditioning units were securely mounted, wired, and trial-run with zero issues — ensuring a comfortable, productive environment from day one.
